The PGA Tour continues its stay in Hawaii, as a full field takes on the Waialae Country Club, in Honolulu. Whilst Kevin Kisner gave us a good run last weekend, he did fall short on the final round, just missing out on the money spots. Given that the course only registers 7,000 yards, driving distance has been a largely irrelevant stat in recent years, it is instead the short stick performance that has seen most guys go on to win. In 2016 Fabian Gomez ranked 10th in putting average for the week, in 2017 Justin Thomas ranked 1st, and in 2018 Patton Kizzire ranked 2nd. So if you want to win around Waialae you need to putt your socks off.
Kevin Kisner – Stake 0.80% (0.40% each-way) or £40 (£20 each-way)
Whilst Kisner didn’t have the best final round, he did show that he’s still in decent touch, and that odds over 50/1 offer significant value. His putting was a little streaky, but playing again this week should help him to recapture some touch on the greens.

Lanto Griffin – Stake 0.60% (0.30% each-way) or £30 (£15 each-way)
How this guy is 100/1 is beyond me. He currently ranks 12th in strokes gained putting, and 18th in strokes gained total. He’s coming off a 13th place finish last week, and leading up to that 6 top 20 finishes in a row.

Sebastian Munoz – Stake 0.60% (0.30% each-way) or £30 (£15 each-way)
The young Colombian finished in 10th place at the Sony Open last season, and had a great first full season on tour, claiming his maiden victory at the Sanderson Farms Championship. He doesn’t putt quite as well as the other guys I’ve selected this week, but he does sit 3rd in strokes gained tee to green, 6th in strokes gained approaching the green, and 7th in scoring average. Just an above average week on the greens can see him grab his second victory.

J.T. Poston – Stake 0.80% (0.40% each-way) or £40 (£20 each-way)
Poston is coming off 3 straight Top 20’s, which includes a 2nd place finish at the QBE Shootout. He ranked 37th in putting average last season, and like Munoz claimed his maiden tour victory. After competing at the Tournament of Champions last week he will be more than ready to take on Waialae.
