Sentry Tournament of Champions

Kevin-Kisner-winning-puttFinally!!!!!!!! Golf has returned, and I am back with my first selections since the 21st November. Like every year, we start with the Sentry Tournament of Champions, an event that I’ve had some success with, selecting winners in 2014 and 2015. The Kapalua Resort will play host once again, as it has done since 1999. The Plantation course registers a monstrous 7,518 yards, although is an unusual Par 73. Whilst it’s a long course, driving distance has never been the key to victory. Please note, because of the reduced field there are no Top 20 selections this week.

Kevin Kisner – Stake 0.60% (0.30% each-way) or £30 (£15 each-way)

Kisner is vastly underrated heading into most tournaments, especially those in which you have several top 10 golfers involved. He claimed his biggest victory to date in 2019, when he won the WGC Match Play.  In his last 8 events he’s registered 3 top 10’s, and 1 top 20 finish, match that with his ranks of 20th in strokes gained putting, and 30th in scoring average, odds around 66/1 look big.

Kevin Na – Stake 0.60% (0.30% each-way) or £30 (£15 each-way)

After his win at the Shriners in October, Na has played sparingly throughout the festive period, but has the game to contend this week, as he ranks 17th in strokes gained putting, and 15th in scoring average, so far this season.
