Sanderson Farms Championship

hi-res-1cf4c1daec4cb9298a0f64c32a164351_crop_northWith Joaquin Niemann claiming a well deserved maiden victory, the PGA Tour heads to The Country Club of Jackson, situated in Jackson, Mississippi it plays host to the Sanderson Farms Championship. A tournament which is synonymous with maiden winners, as the last 4 men to hoist the trophy have done so for the first time in their careers. Given the small greens, it usually takes some accurate ball striking and approach play to claim victory.

Si-Woo Kim – Stake 0.60% (0.30% each-way) or £30 (£15 each-way)

On his day, Kim is one of the better golfers on the PGA Tour, his problem is inconsistency. Although, in a weakened field, I was surprised to see odds so big, on a guy who has won the Players Championship and the Wyndam.

Wyndam Clark – Stake 0.60% (0.30% each-way) or £30 (£15 each-way)

A guy who gave us some nice returns last season, with a decent finish in the 3M Open. His late season form secured his card for 2019/20 and will be looking to get off to a better start this time around. Whilst his ball striking needs improvement, he finished last season ranked 8th in putting and 5th in driving distance, so I’m happy to take odds of 70/1 that he puts together a few decent rounds.

Sebastian Munoz – Stake 0.40% (0.20% each-way) or £20 (£10 each-way)

Another golfer who gave us some positive returns last season, especially in the latter part of the season, with five Top 10/20 finishes in 11 starts. He returned to form straight away this season with a 7th place finish at the Greenbrier.
