The ZOZO Championship

5ffc188e54c57024410f6a706700be39The PGA Tour stays in Asia for another week, as the Zozo Championship makes its debut. Located at the Accordia Golf Narashino Country Club in Inazi, Japan. With this being the inaugural event there is no course form to really go off, but having looked at the course notes it looks to suit the accurate golfer, with water and tight tree lines being a feature on a majority of the holes. Like last week, it is a reduced field of 78 players, meaning all markets will be slightly reduced.

Adam Hadwin – Stake 1.00% (0.50% each-way) or £50 (£25 each-way)

The Canadian came close a couple of weeks ago in Safeway Open, finishing 2nd to Cameron Champ. He played well again the following week at the Shriners finishing in 4th, so he is clearly in great form. Currently ranked number 1 in strokes gained on the PGA Tour shows just how well he’s playing, and if you match that with his putting skills he should contend again this week.

Ryan Moore – Stake 0.80% (0.40% each-way) or £40 (£20 each-way)

A guy who very much blows hot and cold, is currently on a relative hot streak, with 4 Top 20 finishes in his last 6 starts, he plays a course this week in which his lack of distance off the tee, shouldn’t hinder him too much. Moore has won 5 times in his career, with 2 wins coming on the Asian Tour at the CIMB Classic in 2013 and 2014.

Si-Woo Kim – Stake 0.60% (0.30% each-way) or £30 (£15 each-way)

A little bit of a flyer selection, but I can’t pass up odds exceeding 100/1 on a guy as talented as Si-Woo, in a field of only 78 golfers. He’s made 7 straight cuts without really threatening a win, mainly due to some poor putting performances, so one good week with the flat-stick and those odds would appear more than generous.
