And so, the FedEx Cup playoffs begin, starting with the Northern Trust, which returns to Liberty National for the first time since Adam Scott was crowned champion back in 2013, when he fended off stiff competition from men named Rose, Woodland, Woods……. and DeLeat. After a poor turnout at the Wyndam last week, pretty much every top golfer will be making an appearance in New Jersey.

Billy Horschel – Stake 1.00% (0.50% each-way) or £50 (£25 each-way)
Billy-Ho always seems to bring his A-Game when the FedEx Cup playoffs roll around, and he’s in fine form, coming of a 6th place finish last week, and a 9th place finish at the St Jude the previous week. We all know he is a streaky player, but he has performed well on the greens this season (ranked 23rd in strokes gained putting) and given his recent form I was happy to see odds at 60/1.

Patrick Reed – Stake 1.00% (0.50% each-way) or £50 (£25 each-way)
Yep, I’m rolling with Reed again. He put together a sensational final round on Sunday, and in his post-round interview he stated just how good he felt about his game right now, and just needs a few good days with the short stick. In his last 7 starts he has finished 32nd or better every time, and whilst he is placed 50th in the FedEx Cup rankings, a win here can propel him to the Tour Championship.
