With all 4 majors done and dusted for 2019, the focus shifts to making into the Fed-Ex Cups Top 125, and with the WGC FedEx St Jude Invitational going on in Memphis, the ‘lesser’ players of the PGA Tour will get another chance to make a massive jump up those Fed-Ex leaderboards. The Montreux Golf and Country Club once again plays host to this modified stableford scoring system.
Denny McCarthy – Stake 0.80% (0.40% each-way) or £40 (£20 each-way)
If I were to ask you who the best putter on the PGA Tour was, I’m sure Denny McCarthy isn’t the first name that will spring to your mind. Whilst he hasn’t had a Top 5 finish thus far, the youngster from Maryland has finished inside the Top 25 on 7 occasions. The concern with his game is his inability to hit greens (ranks 128th in GIR percentage), but in a weakened field it just takes one good week, and with the way he rolls the ball the stableford scoring system might be right up his alley.

Wes Roach and Roger Sloan were both of interest, but odds of 66/1 didn’t last long enough, and with the best now being 50/1 I’m going to give them a miss.
